Edit
Found the inspiration for this snack in a Better Homes & Garden magazine, all about using natural sweeteners to cut sugars. I absolutely love the way this tastes. Its healthy and delicious so I am sold! Am planning on making this again with some variations in the mix, so stay tuned!
Ingredients:
Directions:
Ingredients:
- 24 oz Greek yogurt
- 3 tbs maple syrup (or honey)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts
- 1.5 cups chopped fresh fruit
Directions:
- Line a 13×9″ baking dish or pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix the yogurt, maple syrup, vanilla, chocolate chips & nuts. Transfer mixture to pan and spread out evenly using a rubber spatula. Top with fruit and press into yogurt mixture. Freeze for 3 or more hours. Remove from pan and allow to thaw for 5 minutes prior to slicing up bark. Store leftovers in air tight container in your freezer.
- Yields 10 servings.
